Feeling The Pain

Feeling the pain…. Well not allot but it’s there. Went to the park to day and got in allot of laps. Something like 10 mix of walk and jog. A bunch of pull ups sets of push ups and some high steps. Timw for all this was between 5:15 pm to 6:54 pm. I didnt keep track of my routines today. I do know I will be taking off a day or two to give my shoulders a rest.

8 Days Rest

I don’t know exactly what I did but I pulled my shoulder traps back and front. May have to do with the way I was lifting the 65 lb off the floor when I was doing chest press. Well today I got off my bum and did a bunch of shoulders with the 5 lb dbs. I been using that poundage for the better part of 3 days. Also went tp the park and did a few laps and pull up.

12:05 pm to 12:40 pm

  • Standing Side Raises5 x 30 reps
  • Arnold Press 25 lbs 5 x 10
  • Park 1:00 pm to 3:20 pm
  • 5 Laps Walk, 5 x 10 reps pull up
  • 5 sets of push up x 10 reps
  • 5 sets of high steps

All In One Day

Feeling a bit on the heavy/bloated side this morning I decided to a long workout, well longer the usual. Started at 9:40 am this morning I started with chect then I went on to Shoulders, Abs and Squats – workout lasted till 11:25 am.  Then it was off ti the park 11:50 am finished 12:54 pm.

  • Chest w/25 lb DBs 5 x 25 30 sec rest
  • Chest w/65 lb DBs 5 x 10 2 min rest
  • Chest Flys w/25 lb 5 x 10 1 min rest
  • Shoulder Press w/25 lb DB’s 5 x 10 30 sec rest
  • Standing Bent Over Side Raises w/25 lb DB’s 5 x 10 30 sec rest
  • Standing Up Right Rows w/25 lb DB’s 5 x 10 30 sec rest
  • Abs Leg raise 5 x 30 1 min rest
  • Squats w/25 lb DBs 4 x 25 30 sec rest
  • Park I did 5 laps 1 walk one jog some pull up and high steps

I have not done that much in one work in a LONG time. Hope I have what it takes tomorrow.

Park In The Day Chest AT Night

At around 6:00 pm I went walking to the park with my nephew and did a few laps walking an pullup, nothing special. Got home and ate a heavy meal, fell asleep got up around 9:00 pm. Decided to do chest, not just regular chest on the floor but light and heavy. Started with the 25 lbs and jumped to the 65 ponders. Not for the faite of heart. It takes straight to do such things, specially doing them off the floor.

  • Chest Press: 10 x 25 reps 1 min rest w/ 25 lbs
  • Chest Press 5 x 10 reps w/65 lbs
  • Chest Flys 5 x 10 reps w/ 25 lbs

PLEASE USE CAUTION WHEN USING HEAVY WEIGHTS.

I been lifting heavy for the better part of 30 years
USE A SPOTTER.

Wind Wind Go Away

and please stay away. Went to the park this morning and what a pain it was. Hard a hard time to get ten laps in. Had to Jog 3 walk 2 , jogged 2 walked 1 jogged 1. Running into the wind does the the wind out of a person, no pun. Didn’t touch the weights today will be back on the super set wagon tomorrow.

Another Day Another Super Set

This was pretty easy and fast started at 9:08 pm and finished at 9:26 pm. JDid laying back arms/skull crushers and shoulders.

  • Started with skull crushers w/ ez bar 5 lb + 5 lb + 11 lb 5 x 30 reps up and down
  • Standing Shoulder Press behind neck and front press same sets and weight placement as above.

Super Set Today Super Set Tomorrow

After yesterdays workout I decided to do the same today. I did bicep curls and squats. Kept it short and sweet. One don’t need 2+ hours to do super setting/pyramids, theirs many names for it.

  • Started with ez bar w/11 lbs no rest added 5 pound plats 5 x 25 up then down
  • Same with squats 5 x 30 up and down.

don’t have a clue what I’m gonna do tomorrow i be it will be fun.

Getting It Done

From curls to standing dumbbell side raises I did them all. Well not like I did a bunch of reps just 3 reps per set with 2 min rest between each one.

Started with Arms:

  • Curls w/ez bar + 11 lbs 3 x 20
  • Standing back arms same weight 3 x 20
  • Standing DB reverse curls w/25 lbs 3 x 10

Shoulders:

  • Front press w/ ez bar + 11 lbs 3 x 15
  • Behind neck press same weight 3 x 15
  • DB upright w/25 lbs 3 x 10
  • Standing DB side raise w / 25 lbs 3 x 10

Started at 7:00 pm and ended at 7:33 pm. It’s 8 pn now and I’m still sweating.

Squats In The Night

Took about 3 days off, got some squats in tonight. Started them at about 9:26 pm and ended my routine at 9:54 pm. I min rest between each set.

  • Warm up w ez bar + 5 lbs 3 x 25
  • added 5 more lbs 3 x 25
  • took the 5 off added 11lbs as well as both 5 lb plates 3 x 25
  • removed 5 1 x 25
  • removed another pair of 5 lb plates 1 x 30

Legs feel like rubber, feels good at the same time.

Lapping It Up

Well after a 4 day lay off I decided to take off to the park for a few laps. Nothing fancy just walked there, started jogging as I got their. Did 10 laps total 8 jogged 2 walk. Jogged 4 then walked 1. Was going to do pull ups – changed my mind, don;t want to over do it and strain myself.
